P.O.G. — Project: Overhaul Games is based on the viewpoint that the category of "family" or "party" games consists largely of board games, and could therefore greatly benefit from an infusion of more streamlined and compact game concepts. Card games — mostly just cards with no other components — naturally fits the bill. In contrast to typical board games, they are very portable and inexpensive to produce. A good cross-range of game themes and modes of play would provide the dynamic and variable action necessary to entice players, build interest and create a following. The ultimate goal is to offer a spectrum of card games to cover every genre and style of play…resulting in a satisfied gaming public. It's not just about "Old Maid" & "Crazy Eights" anymore!
